Study NSW - Familiarisation Tours

AIEC delegates are invited to take part in a series of familiarisation tours showcasing the diversity, innovation and student experience on offer across New South Wales. These optional experiences include a visit to International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS), a specialist higher education provider known for its iconic Northern Beaches campus and industry-focused programs; a guided walking tour of Tech Central, Sydney’s leading innovation district anchored by universities, startups, industry and government; and an opportunity to connect with Charles Sturt University (CSU), a regional university with a strong focus on practical learning, community impact and global engagement. Places may be limited, and delegates are encouraged to register directly with the host organisation using the links below.
Monday 26 October
3:10pm - 7:00pm | Introduction to ICMS
Join ICMS, in partnership with Study NSW and AIEC, for an exclusive familiarisation visit to its stunning Northern Beaches Campus in Manly. This event offers delegates the opportunity to experience ICMS firsthand, meet the team, and learn more about its programs, student experience and distinctive campus environment. Return transport will be provided from Central Station, followed by a campus tour, drinks and canapés, and a welcome address in the Great Hall and Balcony.
Tuesday 27 October
10:00am - 12:00pm | Tech Central Walking Tour 2026 - University of Technology Sydney
Explore Sydney’s leading innovation district through a guided Tech Central Walking Tour hosted by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Starting at the iconic UTS Tower, this tour offers delegates an insider’s view of the precinct where technology, research, startups, creative industries and urban transformation come together. Participants will discover key sites across Ultimo, Chippendale, Central Station, Surry Hills and Haymarket, and hear how Tech Central is shaping the future of innovation in Sydney.
11:30am - 2:00pm | Explore. Connect. Experience - Charles Sturt University
Charles Sturt University (CSU) invites AIEC delegates to register their interest in an on-campus experience designed to showcase its facilities, people and global vision. This familiarisation opportunity will provide participants with the chance to connect with the CSU team, explore its learning environment, and gain insights into the university’s approach to global engagement. Please note this is an Expression of Interest, and registering does not guarantee a place.
