Information for first time attendees

Whether you are new to the international education community or whether this is your first time attending AIEC, we want to make sure your AIEC experience is a great success.

The important thing is to remember that you are not alone! Over 35% of attendees are first timers too, and many of them are also new to the international education industry.

Make sure you head along to the following sessions and social events to get a great introduction to the sector: 

• Visit the IEAA booth – meet IEAA Network leaders and find out more about how you can get involved in the IEAA’s activities
• Attend the Welcome Reception (Tuesday) and introduce yourself to our exhibitors and sponsors
• Join a Braindate and have interesting conversations with people that share the same interests as you
• Meet up with speakers in the Speaker Lounge, located in the Exhibition Hall
• Take part in the pre-conference info sessions and masterclasses
• Follow AIEC and share your thoughts about the conference on social media. Use hashtag #aiec2024 and join in the conversations! It’s a great way to learn about #intled and to connect with other attendees
