Conference registration fees

Registration Information

• Currency and Tax: All rates are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
• Registration Type: All registrations are for in-person attendance. There is no option for virtual registration.
• Speaker Registration: Only speakers have the option to register for a single day (Wednesday or Thursday).
• General Registration: All other registration types are for the full duration of the conference (Tuesday to Friday).
• Individual Registration: Sharing of registrations is not permitted. Each attendee must purchase their own individual registration.
• Internation Delegations: AIEC welcomes International delegations and offers a discounted rate for these delegations. Further details and how to apply can be found here.

*All speakers must register by 14 August to keep their session on the program.

Pre-conference sessions

• Date: The pre-conference sessions will be held on Tuesday, 27 October.
• Ticket Information: Tickets for these sessions are not included in the main conference registration.
• Eligibility: Registration for pre-conference sessions is exclusively available to delegates who are attending the main conference.
• Capacity: Due to limited capacity, registration is essential to secure your spot.

Important notes about discounted rates

Super Early Bird and Early Bird rates

Super Early bird (31 July): To qualify for super early bird registration and save $300 off the registration, registration fees must be received by 31 July 2026. Registration fees are based on the date of payment receipt, not the date of receipt of the registration form.

Early Bird (18 September): To qualify for early bird registration, registration fees must be received by 18 September 2026. Registration fees are based on the date of payment receipt, not the date of receipt of the registration form.

Conditions apply. Super Early Bird and Early Bird discounts are not applicable if registering at the school staff or student rate. Early Bird discount are not applicable to speakers.

IDP clients and IEAA members

IDP client: Applies to full or part-time employees of an organisation that is an IDP client or IDP Student Essentials partner at the time of registration and for the duration of the Conference, who must register with their work email. Your client or partner status will be verified by IDP or IDP Student Essentials teams.

IEAA member: Applies to members of IEAA at the time of registration and for the duration of the Conference. If your membership application is in progress, please ensure that you become a full member before you register at this rate. Your membership status will be verified by IEAA.

Sponsors and exhibitors

If you are a sponsor or exhibitor and would like to purchase additional registrations for your staff (i.e. in addition to any complimentary registrations included in your sponsorship or exhibition package), you can purchase them at the discounted rate shown above. Please note this applies only to staff at your own organisation.

School staff

The school staff rate applies to full-time staff at a primary or secondary Australian school who must use their work email address when registering as proof of school staff status.

Students

The student rate applies to full-time domestic or international students. Students may be asked to provide proof of student status via email or upon arrival at the Conference venue.

Speakers

The speaker rate applies to presenters and co-presenters, chairs, panellists, facilitators, moderators and/or session discussants. Speakers must be confirmed and must have received written confirmation of their invitation to speak, chair or moderate a session at the conference.

Speaker Day Registration is only available to speakers.

Insurance

We encourage you to check the details of your insurance cover, as well as the specific terms and conditions of your travel and accommodation bookings, as the maximum liability of IDP or Think Business Events is limited to a refund of the registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other costs or expenses.
