Calling international education data experts!
Our international education data masterclass for experienced practitioners has consistently sold out since its inception at AIEC 2023. Back by popular demand, in 2026 our Masterclass continues to provide participants with opportunities for small-group presentations and discussions facilitated by international education data experts as well as an ‘ask me anything’ session. Participants will also be able to meet and network with other international education professionals from across Australia who are advanced users of international education data.
Please note this workshop is best suited to those who are well-versed with international education datasets available in Australia and globally and/or who have advanced data literacy.
This workshop includes a working lunch and networking opportunities.
Learning objectives
Participants will:
- learn from international education data experts, who will facilitate small group discussions and share insights from their own areas of expertise.
- be able to ask questions and deepen existing knowledge of complex datasets used in international education.
- meet and form meaningful connections with like-minded data experts and other AIEC attendees who have a shared interest in international education data.
Audience
This masterclass is designed for AIEC attendees:
- with a minimum of three years of experience in international education and who regularly use international education datasets such as Austrade’s Education and Data Insights (EDI) and student visa data
- who may have less than three years’ industry experience within international education but have advanced data literacy skills.
If you are a newcomer to international education or at beginner level in terms of your experience with international education data, please consider attending the International education essentials for beginners workshop instead.
