All exhibitor deliveries must arrive no earlier than Monday 13 October, between 8am and 4pm, or be delivered directly to your exhibition stand during the exhibitor bump in on Tuesday 12 October, between 9am to 1pm.
Below are details to help with the delivery of your goods to the venue:
- Goods not delivered to the NCCC Exhibition Hall loading dock will not be accepted.
- Goods received earlier than Monday 13 October will not be accepted.
- Goods not displaying the NCCC Delivery Label will not be accepted.
- To avoid issues with the delivery of your goods, always ensure that a representative is onsite to take possession of these goods or ensure you use our recommended freight forwarding company.
- The NCCC and Think Business Events will not sign delivery of any goods received on behalf of an exhibitor, nor is there any responsibility taken for the safety of any such items delivered to the site in the absence of the exhibitor. To avoid any issues, please ensure that deliveries do not require a signature upon arrival.
NCCC Delivery Label
All exhibition goods being forwarded to the National Convention Centre Canberra must use the “NCCC Delivery Label” which can be downloaded via the AIEC Exhibitor portal and attached below. This label must be attached to every item delivered to the loading dock.
Additionally, there is no storage space available inside the expo hall or loading dock. All boxes and crates must be removed offsite or arrangements for storage must be made directly with Expo Freight or NCCC. Please be aware that charges will apply for storage services.

Freight Forwarder
Our preferred freight forwarders, Expo Freight can provide a complete transport, materials handling and storage service, utilising their service streamlines your operational experience. They monitor freight from origin through to the exhibition booth, ensuring goods are handled in a professional manner and all formalities/deadlines are met.
Specialising in exhibition freight forwarding – both domestic and international – Expo Freight can ensure exhibitors’ products, display and merchandise are in the right place, at the right time.
If you are using Expo Freight your goods will automatically be delivered to your booth and all services provided will be invoiced to you directly.
Expo Freight Booking Instruction
AIEC bumps in on very tight parameters and deliveries will not be accepted at the venue earlier. Furthermore, all freight must be removed from the venue the same night as the exhibition closes, with no exceptions.
For these reasons alone, we highly recommend using Expo Freight as their service is door-to-stand and they provide services outside normal business hours. Prior to the conference, they will make contact to discuss and determine your individual freight and logistics requirements.
Other Freight/Courier Companies
It is highly recommended that you use our preferred freight forwarders. Please be aware that freight services will incur costs for your organisation. However, if this is not an option, your arrangements should be made for goods to arrive no earlier than Monday 13 October or on Tuesday 14 October during the exhibitor bump in. Please ensure all deliveries items have the correct NCCC delivery labels on.
If you are using your own transport/freight company, Expo Freight, Think Business Events and the NCCC staff cannot sign for the delivery of goods on your behalf. Please make specific arrangements with your freight provider and/or have a representative onsite at the time of your delivery. To avoid any issues, please ensure that deliveries do not require a signature upon arrival.
