Dress code

Conference dress code

The dress code for delegates is smart casual/business throughout the conference. Don’t forget to bring a light jacket with you as the air-conditioned session rooms can sometimes get a bit cool.

Perth weather

October is the middle of spring in Perth. The weather is increasingly warm and sunny with the average daytime temperature 12°C to 23°C (53°F to74°F). Temperatures do drop at night so you may need a jacket for evenings. Just like the rest of the year, there’s plenty of sunshine in October in Perth, but little rainfall. There is a lot of flora in spring; discover more than 12,000 species of wildflowers that blossom in Perth’s nature reserves and national parks.

Dinner dress code

“Find a mask and wear it well, so your true identity no-one can tell.”

The dress code for the evening is black tie (optional), with a touch of gold and a mask.

Gentlemen are encouraged to wear attire that suits a black-tie dress code, e.g. tuxedo or a dark suit with a shirt and tie.

Ladies may want to wear a floor-length gown, or a knee-length cocktail dress, a pant suit or dressy separates.
