Based in Shanghai, Tina Hu has 14 years experience as a participant observer and researcher of consumer insights in both online and offline contexts. With the rare blend of expertise in social media insights and consumer research in China, Tina has her fingers on the pulse of Chinese market by digging deep from the mammoth amount of online chatters on the fast evolving Chinese social media platforms, as well as talking to all sorts of consumers ranging from youth, housewives, opinion leaders, industry experts, to high level CXOs. Tina used to head up consulting services at CIC, China’s leading social media insight firm, which is now a WPP company. She worked closely with multi-disciplinary stakeholders across leading companies, like digital managers, marketers, PR, R&D and HR professionals to deliver high-impact social media insights in order to achieve future-proof growth. Tina holds an MBA degree from the Fudan-BI Norwegian Business School MBA program.
